Shrinkpots are a traditional style of wooden container made by inserting a dry wooden base into a hollowed out green log. As the greenwood dries, it shrinks around the base creating a tight fit without any sort of glue or adhesive.
This container has a carved friction fit lid for a tight seal. The lid is left with axe marks on full display to showcase the beautiful texture created during the process of making it, and painted with barn red milk paint.
Perfect for storing dry goods such as coffee, tea leaves, sugar, etc.
